Kenya is a country that hosts a diversity of attractions and dramatic extremes. Kenya is blessed with a colourful natural beauty: lakes, mountain chains, huge ancient volcanoes like the Mount Kenya and the Mount Elgon, hillsides, valleys and savannas, semi-desert areas and over 480 kilometres of fascinating Indian Ocean tropical beach.
Basically Kenya offers you everything the African continent has got to offer. Each area has its own unique weather conditions.
There is a large variety of big herds that run wild inside the well protected safari parks. The country counts over 1200 different species of birds.
Kenya is also the country where several human species took their first steps. Near Lake Turkana, in the north, the Leakey family made several spectacular finds when they found the remainders of the first humans on earth.
The climate is ideal in Kenya; not too warm and not too cold: perfect weather conditions throughout the year.
The native population is diverse; there are about 30 different population groups. Their cultures are vibrant and untamed while their manner of living are simple.
